Instructions To Register For Renegades 2024 AAU Spring Tournament Season: (revised 2-4-24)

Boys Grades 3 thru 11

Everyone should bring their own basketball and if player is not a club member please register online and pay $50 Tryout fee & purchase their own $22 Extended Added Benefit AAU card  several days in advance of tryout date and bring copy of aau card to tryouts. Instructions below

Brand New Players must purchase their own Extended AB (Added Benefit)  AAU Card and bring copy of card to 1st Tryout (Do not purchase the 20.00 card)

2023-2024 Renegades Members already have aau card on file & there is no tryout fee

By 2nd tryout all new players should pay the uniform fee so we can order to receive on time.

$75.00 cost for 6th Gr & under players’ reversible jersey and shorts and $150.00 7th Gr & up players’ 3 piece dazzle uniform set (2 black & white jerseys and 1 pair of shorts) 

All new players on a spring team must pay 250 club membership but the 50 tryout fee will be deducted. Club membership covers Tryouts, insurance and our weekly year round drills sessions.  Weekly drills and skills are on Mondays during the winter thru the end of March.  We post a weekly drills announcement in upper right hand corner of our website stating date and times and players can attend weekly drills as soon as they become club members.

We do not cut players, we place them on club teams that will ensure the best situation for their development during the spring season. There are no refunds for the 200.00 club membership fee but your child can continue to attend weekly drills and skills till August 31, 2024.  Your child should attend all tryouts if possible.   If their school ball season is conflicting with our schedule or for other reasons, they should then attend drills as soon as possible. Please also email renegadesscheduling@gmail.com if your child has a conflict with a tryout session. For the AAU season, players play their grade, we do not play them a grade up.

Following Tryouts, practices start immediately and you can click on “Practice Schedule” on our website every Monday morning to view weekly practice schedule.
Generally there are two team practices per week plus weekly drills. 

We do not know when each team will practice yet until we can poll the parents and figure out nights where a majority of players can attend. Team assignments will be sent in an email confirmation to families as soon as they are determined following tryouts. 

Cost of Spring AAU tournament season

Below are the 2024 Spring Tournament fees Cost which include the fundraising fees plus practice gym time fee: 

All players pay the total indicated for the number of tournaments for each grade.

3rd Boys (3 local) = $600, 4th Boys (4 local) = $700, 5th Boys (5 local) = $800, 6th Boys (5 local) = $800 , 7th Boys & up (5 local + Wildwood) = 950  

The above fees include our raffle and bingo fundraising.  Each player receives 20 raffle tickets @ 5.00 each that can be sold to recoup the 100.00 fee included

in the spring tournaments fee.  Bingo fundraising consists of two 25.00 tickets to attend our Bingo Night.

Everyone completes the AAU Spring Availability sheet to let us know which weekends they are available to play in tournaments.

2 Games on Sat and 1 Game on Sunday plus possible 4th championship game.
